Heterophobia - someone in the gay, lesbian, or transgender community that discriminates against the heterosexual community. Some heterophobes believe they are restoring balance to equal rights because of the discrimination the gay, lesbian and transgender community has endured by some of the heterosexual community.

Home-wrecker - a woman who successfully breaks up a relationship and steals one of the partners for herself. (a.k.a winner)

Femme Friendly - describes an event or vacation, that a participant need not abandon their self image or alter their standard of living beyond their own personal comfort in order to enjoy the activity and not hinder the experience of other participants. A femme friendly event/vacation should not involve the femme friendly participant getting dirty, lifting heavy objects, or peeing in an area without walls. An example of a non-femme friendly event would be camping in the woods for a week, without showers, accessories, nail polish, blow dryers, or hair products.

Chameleon - called "Cham" for short, a woman that is not really a lesbian but often while drunk is convinced she is for the evening, typically to tantalize nearby male observers.

Cheetah - in between the age bracket of the kitten and cougar, an attractive women that is notorious for moving extremely fast, the cheetah has a significant other but is on the prowl for some "fresh blood" for the evening. Cheetah's prey are often fooled into thinking the Cheetah is a "cougar", "puma", "jaguar", or other animal.. until they experience the wrath of the cheetah's partner.

Cougar - a woman between the ages of 35 and 50 year old who is on the "hunt" for a younger (usually 10+ years younger) mate. While similar to the "MILF" cougars are far more aggresive. Cougars can be frequently spotted at bars and clubs.

Bear - a gay man covered in body and facial hair, typically heavy set, large in stature and has the appearance of an average "working man". Bears often, but not always live in more rural areas and only make it to the city during gay pride, leather events or biker week.

Bull-Dyke - a tough, 'butch' lesbian.. very similar even in appearance to the bull animal.. typically seen wearing hiking boots, sleeveless tank tops. Also known to grunt occasionally.

Butch - a masculine women, usually a homosexual or in deep denial, are often times mistakenly referred to as 'sir' (some women are severely offended while others take it as a total compliment). Typically can be seen wearing a men's clothing.
